Whether you are beginning your learning about yoga or whether you are already experienced in practising, Hadas will guide you along your improvement journey with gentleness and care, weaving together asana practice, meditation, and philosophy that, when combined, release transformative power. A certified Iyengar Yoga teacher, Hadas offers a thoughtful and precise approach to yoga. Her teaching helps improve stability, flexibility and strength while easing stress and tension. Through 'soft yoga' she focuses on the health of the back and joints, using gentle yet precise adjustments that are carefully adapted to each individual. This makes the practice accessible and beneficial for all body types, ages and abilities, supporting safe , sustainable movement and overall wellbeing. Depending on the weather, you will learn and practise yoga in the beautiful grounds and rooms of our borgo in Greti as well as at Hadas’ yoga studio in the hills in Casole. There’ll also be the opportunity to explore the ancient and beautiful city of Florence, the medieval town of Greve in Chianti and the historic village of Montefioralle with its stunning views and car-free cobbled streets. Your escape to the Chianti would not be complete without a wine tasting at an agriturismo and learning how to make pasta. But, above all, this is a holiday, so you’ll have time to relax by the pool to read and swim, as well as rejuvenate with aperitivi and long table, social dinners. All yoga equipment is provided but you are welcome to bring your own mat if you wish; make sure to bring suitable, loose clothing.
Your escape includes yoga classes on at least 5 days. A day trip to Florence is also included and we provide a ticket to one of the Uffizi gallery, the Duomo, the Basilica of Santa Croce or the Accademia – you choose. You’ll also experience Chianti cooking by learning how to make pasta.
We pride ourselves on our homecooked, healthy, traditional meals using homegrown and locally sourced ingredients. Your buffet breakfast and lunch will include vegetarian, gluten free and lactose free alternatives. Long table, social, fixed menu dinners include vegetarian options, aperitivi and wine on the table; additional wine can be purchased. Complimentary water, beer and soft drinks and 24-hour tea and coffee making is available in the communal area. All meals are included, except on the day trip to Florence when lunch is at your own expense.
Choose from one of our 6 en suite rooms for your escape, all tastefully restored while retaining their original Tuscan charm. All rooms have their own private entrance and air conditioning. We are not a hotel but are like an agriturismo where your room is made up for you before you arrive. Towels, including a pool towel, are provided.
Yoga mats and equipment for classes are provided but you are welcome to bring your own yoga mat if you wish.
Your escape is guided by Hadas Salman, a certified lyengar Yoga teacher who studied yoga in Tel Aviv and now teaches and practises in the Chianti. Hadas has her own yoga studio near to us, so some classes will take place here, some at her studio.
